Professors: US flag symbolizes racism, should not be displayed on campus

Via Susan

" Hmmm...banning a flag because someone claims it's 'racist' and because it might 'offend' somebody... sounds vaguely familiar... WHERE have we heard that before...?!

For all those who sit quietly by while they continue to attack, remove, and censor Confederate flags, on the SAME FALSE PRETENSES... the chickens have come home to roost...

A group of university professors has signed a letter showing their solidarity with students who tried to ban the American flag at the University of California, Irvine – because they said Old Glory contributes to racism.

“U.S. nationalism often contributes to racism and xenophobia, and that the paraphernalia of nationalism is in fact often used to intimidate,” read a letter obtained by the website Campus Reform.
A group of Californian lawmakers is working on a bill that that would prohibit publicly funded universities from banning the American flag.
Hundreds across the nation have signed the letter – including some U.C. Irvine professors, Campus Reform reported.

  1. Closet if not open communists. The philosophical difference between fascism and communism revolves around national and cultural identity. Whereas national socialists regard them as human characteristics to be used in building the socialist states a communist (internatjonal socialist) believes that they must be destroyed in order to build the international cadre. That these dirt bags are making these claims are part and parcel of both this goal of destroying national and cultural identity and the big lie that fascism is a product of the political right.

  2. I have an idea, ban the damn universities and the college professors. If a college has the amount of foreign students and faculty, then it's accreditation needs to be pulled. I can bet you donuts to your worthless FED note those students have their national flag on an article of property if not hanging in their dorm room or apartment next to their Castro and Che poster... frikken marxist retards!

  4. This makes my blood boil. When I was in college I had better things to do.
If this country is so damn oppressive and the flag makes you feel such a way, then get the f**k out!!! I'm so sick of it. But it's all designed to get under your skin, but at the same time if we don't stand up and fight, we'll lose it either way.

    2. This political correctness bullshit goes back to 1987 at least. They changed Alabamas flag from square to rectangular. The square flag brought up awful memories of slavery and the Confederacy because some of there battle flags were square. Whats next? The white background? Or maybe the crimson stripes are a reminder of a masters lashes. Or maybe because St. Andrew was Christian. Where does this shit end. My God, Im sick of it.

  5. Can we not just fire every "professor" and expel every "student" associated with a major ending in the word "Studies"?
