William Teach has the correct answer.

DeleteWilliam Teach makes a good point:
So, developed nations are supposed to transfer vast gobs of taxpayer money to [3rd world shitholes] developing nations to ….. make sure that they stay in the 7th century, forgoing all modern energy and development? Hell, they’ve been “developing” for centuries, and never get beyond. Why should that cost anything?
Thanks and went right over my head as I immediately thought of Edward "Blackbeard" who used to prowl the straits around here. :)
DeleteMe to, they say his ghost still haunts Okra Coke Island and so do i
DeleteWhen do you plan to go next? We want to also. Sounds like I need to make plans for an involved trip........:)
DeleteFirst week of May. Renting a house in Avon for the week. Meet me at Howard's end, I'll buy you a beer!
DeleteCan't make it then, but we will go later on. Dixie should finish school on the first, but we go to Dixieland on the sixth for the PATCON. Too bad.
DeleteLet me know when we can still try to schedule if you like I wouldn't object to another visit this year
DeleteThanks, but you always stay on Avon, correct?
DeleteActually, the money will go to the UN and its minion NGOs to be squandered in the name of the Poor, which how it has always been. Sickening.
ReplyDeleteJust read a story in the Washington Compost about how it's going down there in Haiti - $15 billion in pledges and real cash, but not much help for the little guy.

I am sure and thanks for the link.
DeleteI wouldn't mind getting some of that global warming
ReplyDeleteI'm ready, though we have had a few beach days as far as the weather is concerned, but not the water without a wet suit, that's for sure.
DeleteI am in 100% agreement with this man, one of the co-founders of Greenpeace who is a strong AGW skeptic:

Yes, I remember something about this a while back.
