I consider the .223 upper as something that can be parted out. They don't sell the carrier and cocking handle seperate. It's too bad that this stock won't fit on the upper- you could come up with a neat rifle. This stock design had to come from someone that had seen the XM231 Port firing rifle or combined it with a MP5-A3 type stock. Just my thought anyway. Joe from Tyler
I think I'll just stick with my AK or the Garand ; Thanks. This is a "If you put lipstick on a pig, its still just a pig" kind of thing. No matter how hard you try and make an AR LOOK like it's something else , its still just "Jammin' Jenny"---Ray
I prefer the rear charging handle on ARs. It seems more out of the way and there's less room for stuff to get into the action. Just my 2.
