The American Medical
Association (AMA) on Monday voted to oppose religious or philosophical
exemptions for childhood vaccinations, in what its members hope will be a
determinative blow against informed consent and a parent’s right to
protect the bodily integrity of their child.
Two
states already deny parents and children these rights under law.
Neither Mississippi nor West Virginia allow for a religious or
philosophical exemption by law. These states coincidentally both rank at
the very bottom in both education (43rd and 50th) and economic (50th and 45th) outcomes, but suddenly the AMA finds them “cutting-edge.”

I'm not smart enough to figure this out, so someone please help me here.
ReplyDeleteIf your child has been immunized and mine hasn't been, why is YOUR child in danger ? Shouldn't the immunized child be safe from catching the disease ? Or are doctors worried that having a clearer picture the vaccines aren't as effective as they claim them to be.
We already know that the side effects these vaccines can cause worse damage then the disease itself - in some cases, the person immunized was permanently injured or even died. I think Big Pharma is safe from prosecution in many of these cases.

It's ridiculous and just refuse.
DeleteThe logic goes that there are some kids who cannot be vaccinated because of their severe medical conditions. Your healthy kids must be risked in order to minisculy reduce the risk of those other unhealthy kids.
DeleteShow me the parent who wants a piece of that action. Normally it is only the at risk parents who want to sacrifice everyone else's kids for the benefit of their own kids.

DeleteI imagine.
I don't know why parental rights should be limited to religious or philosophical exemptions. Why not allow parents who simply believe a particular vaccine has a higher risk than benefit ratio and uses logic, and comes to a rational choice about what is best for their own child?
ReplyDeleteLogic escapes commies purposely.
DeleteThis will certainly result in an even greater number of families choosing home schooling....so it won't be much longer before we hear about states trying to shut that down, too, because your kiddies will be missing out on the Guvmint's porn shows and great food.
