    I cannot decide whether to sew my battle flag (cross of St Andrew) patch on my OG's or my 1st national flag. Perhaps my "Stainless flag" patch? ----Ray

      Here's a thought: Why not one of the old Ranger tabs in honor of Mosby and others?

      The original flash shows a powderhorn and tomahawk for early New England Rangers of the French & Indian wars like Roberts, and the Confederate battle flag for southern Rangers like Mosby, and the pathfinder spearhead to honor men like Darby and Merrill of the Second World War. Commercially available shoulder patches similar to the original beret flash, with the inverted tab text logo "Rangers lead the way" are not U.S. Army regulation issue.

      Mainly because I already own all of the above patches and any patch with a "rebel flag" in / on it has been pulled by ALL vendors. They cannot be had at any price. The closest thing available now is the WW2 "Mars Task Force" patch. The only Southern flags to be had now ,are from a few civil war suttler's that haven't been bought out---YET. I won't be surprised if even the display of the flags still in nongovernment possession is banned in the very near future, followed closely by bibles, crosses and other "offensive" "rightwing hate displays". Just like England. Unlike England, I don't think the south will comply. I don't want this as a colorful display to flip off "the man" I will put them on as my IFF patch ; Kind of my way of "girding my loins" ' cause, IMO this is it, "they ain't waitin' for later" ---Ray

      Actually I ordered the ANV flag and handful of ANV flag shoulder patch's. I already have the "Ranger flash" as it is the "Mars Task force " patch worn by the "marauders" after WW2. (they were never recognized as a serving unit while in combat. They didn't have a patch or even a name until 1946 . Read the history, the way Stillwell used and then lied about those men was criminal. The movie was a total farce and propaganda from end to end. )

    Several ancestors fought for NC (17th, 47th & 71st Regiments) in the WBTS...and I've sewn the beautiful flag that you adorn your site with on several articles of clothing.
