Although I have additional questions about the story, you are in error. He has been threatened about this for approximately 3-5 years now, which involved a recent court date that went poorly for him. Moreover, with "conservative" and "Patriot" allies like you in the world, the least of his worries is being SWATTED.
Cav, I watched his video. He presented NO EVIDENCE. He did present threats to kill the megestrate/sheriff/or other legal authorities should they attempt to evict him.
He does not own the property he is on. He has no inherent right (civil or moral) to defend it or to kill others to stay on it.
I am absolutely NOT his ally. Stupid people are on their own. being victimised by unscrupulous real estate dealings earns him my sympathy. Going postal to defend rights he clearly does not have, loses all my good will. His "allies" should be talking him down off that ledge before he gets hurt, not pushing him closer to the edge with Gadsden flags and blood of patriot speaches.

Does anyone have any background on this story? I go by this area on one of my few northern routes to see Mom. Mt. Pleasant, is the big city in Isabella County, home of Central Michigan University and a very large Indian Casino (Chippewa). I know of people who have suffered mightily at the hands of the corrupt local govts. and judges in Michigan. We are not alone in the distinction. Private property rights violated, and only the lawyers make out. To the Sheeple of Michigan, where is our Bundy Protection Team? Is one warranted?
