Headlines in San Francisco media, and even across the country this morning, that the killer of Kate Steinle feels regret over shooting her while she was walking with her Dad on SF's famed Pier 14 last week. But pay careful attention to the video interview in the jail cell.(Relevant portion starts at the 17 minute mark. The precise moment is at the 18 minute mark - listen to how the the interpreter asks him "te sientes mal"?  Do you feel bad?  His response of "No" - shaking his head from side-to-side is crystal clear. )

    That is why their feelings should be irrelevent in the trial. What they did is important, not how they felt.

    Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn! To use that famous movie quote. When a criminal states he is sorry or feels remorse for his crime, it almost always means that what he really is sorry for or feels remorse for is that he got caught, and is facing the prospect of having to answer for his crime.
    As for the POS featured above, all I can say is: Get a rope. Every single hour that he continues to be above ground is an insult to the innocent he murdered
