Over the past few weeks, we’ve witnessed something I thought I’d never see in my lifetime: fellow South Carolinians voting away their proud heritage out of fear, intimidation and political correctness.
But of course, it wasn’t the average South Carolina citizen who displayed this cowardice, was it? The citizens of this state were not even afforded the opportunity to voice their opinions in this matter, simply because the politicians in Columbia deeply feared what those ballots might say. If anti-flag representatives were exposed as being on the wrong side of popular opinion, careers would be at stake and donors would stage a mutiny. For an ambitious politician, this is the gravest of all fears.
The truth is that this entire “debate” began under false pretenses. Allow me to explain…
More @ Bright
For those who use "prepper purity" to
ReplyDeletecriticize my comments, hopefully today's
events have finally taught you what
compromise with treasonous shitbags
gets you. Nothing.
Moreover, I hope it finally begins to shatter
the rabid defenders who continue to hide
behind the non-tactic of nothing can be
done until enough ammo is purchased,
enough MRE's and food stores are cached,
and the purity of prerequisites before action
can begin has been met.
Today's actions had nothing to do with
unity, decency, and rectifying
the blight of "racism."
It was a treasonous hot-war attack,
by communists holding elected local,
state and federal positions.
Moreover, those "Patriots" in the AO suffering such
attacks have failed miserably (especially the SCV),
and we have failed them.
Moreover, again communists and treasonous
traitors have won without a single punch being
thrown,a single fight being fought, or a single
shot fired.
Don't even make (FAKE) the feeble attempt
to shellac this turd and make it believably
edible and a thing of beauty.
It is another free WACO and a reprehensible
defeat that we are solely responsible for.
Well said and thanks.
DeleteNor forgiveness. Zero respect for the pretend patriots in SC. They don't have the balls to back up their statements, which should have been; if that flag comes down, there will be dead bodies. Period. If you are not willing to kill to defend that which is sacred to you, then you are a liar, a hypocrite and a coward. This is why the bad guys are willing, they know that nothing will be done to stop them. Time to cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. The time for war is NOW.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Deletenot to mince word with the above rants, but for a sense of scale, the n.y times has a headline story "south carolina lowers confederate flag, and an era ends". they truly believe this puts an end to whatever it is they think they're succeeding at. cultural genocide. if i never buy the n.y. times paper, does that make n.y. blink out of existence with everyone in it? if only it was that easy. especially for the times, itself a symbol, not to understand the difference between a symbol and the reality behind it. lee bright is right, this isn't something for politicians to decide.

Really and it has just begun. A relative from Florida called me today and wanted to know the true story since I was from the South, but she wasn't. By the end of the conversation she asked where she could buy one! :)
Deleteso.... will we be charged with hate crimes now, if we start planting little confederate flags at these war memorials after they've removed the big ones? they must have thought this thru, that we'll just start doing that. is there no freedom of speech or freedom of religion left that will provide for remembering the dead of our past? because if not, what we're left with is preparing a memorial for the dead from the next war.
ReplyDeleteif not, what we're left with is preparing a memorial for the dead from the next war.
DeleteLooks increasing like that. Thanks.
'WHEN JOHNNY COMES MARCHING HOME AGAIN'
ReplyDeleteSorry Johnny, your decedents didn't back you up. Screw them!
Sorry: ' Descendants.' Not whatever the other word was I typed.
ReplyDeleteActually that song was written for a Yankee, but your sentiments are understood. SC should have been the last to knuckle under, so it bodes not well for the future.
DeleteYea I know but both sides adopted the song. But it seems to reflect the Southern
ReplyDeleteatmosphere better and is usually considered Southern and is listed under Rebel
songs.
My mother put it in the same categopry as The Battle Hymn of the Republic. :)
DeleteCan you believe this crap and this exhibition sticks the Confederate flag in its
ReplyDeletehogwash:

Reminds me of the hanging of the Confederate Flag.

This black Pastor seems to think with the removal of the Confederate flag there
ReplyDeletewill be an awakening of Johnny Reb, but I don't think so as people are too afraid
of upsetting the candied apple cart. He gives a good speech:

Thanks and he is a good man being raised in Red Springs, NC where my mother went to college.
