Well, no s---, Sherlock
Lois Lerner, the embattled former Internal Revenue Service official who
has come under fire for targeting conservative groups, once said
President Abraham Lincoln made a mistake when he fought the Civil War to
keep the southern states in the Union.
We really do seem to have 2 totally different mindsets." (Duh)

ReplyDeleteHa! :)
DeleteGet yourself a Confederate Battle Flag, Lois and put it on the back of your truck. You're one of us. It feels good, doesn't it, babe.

DeleteHad it not been for a huge influx of poor immigrants flooding into the new England states and for the U.S. government paying a huge bounty to the aforementioned, I don't think Lincoln or the north would have had a say in whether the Southern states remained in the union. Regarding Lois' statement, I don't think her problem is of a dichotomous nature, but one many .gov employees suffer from and that is a total disconnect from reality and what really "makes the mare trot".
ReplyDeletea total disconnect from reality
DeleteAs are all liberals and well said.
Thank you public schools and universities...
DeleteSarcasm off.
Really.
DeleteHer comments are easily explained! That was then, this is now. That was then: yes, Lincoln ought to have let the South go her own way.
ReplyDeleteBut, this is now, and now means she and her party are in power with anti-Christ Obama in the Oval Office, therefore, it is different this time. So more power to Mordor on the Potomac. All enemies MUST be suppressed by any means necessary.
suppressed by any means necessary.
Delete& defended so.
Lois...it's never too late!! Many of us here in Dixie would still enjoy our independence.
ReplyDeleteAverage Joe
& we will eagerly let you go unlike the Tyrant Lincoln. Of course, if we tried, the Tyrant Obama would do the same as his idol.
