A federal judge said yes to Virginia
Attorney General Mark Herring’s request to vacate an order requiring the
issuance of license plates featuring the Confederate flag – meaning
drivers will have to turn in those rebel flag emblems.
“This ruling will allow Virginia to remove a symbol of oppression and
injustice from public display on its license plates,” Herring said, the
Associated Press reported. “Virginia state government does not have to
and will not endorse such a divisive symbol.”
(Thomas is on my s--- list. No way he would have voted the way he did except for his prejudices. Too bad. )

ReplyDeleteThanks and I have a post on this coming up.
DeleteWon't they feel silly when they learn that they are destroying their heritage over a Photoshopped picture.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like it was Photoshopped according to a comment on the post here, but that's really irrelevant since they don't care and are only looking for the slightest excuse to foment destruction as in the Late Unpleasantness.
DeleteMakes me wonder just how many sets of those plates are going to be reported stolen here in the near future when people start needing to renew their tags.......
ReplyDelete:) As soon as I found out about NC, I tried to renew mine right away, but had to wait until 90 prior and did get my new ones. Then changed my camper van's one for SCV ones also. Recalling them is pure BS.
