A report at The Navy Times in July confirmed that one of the Marines shot during the Chattanooga terrorist attack exchanged fire with the terrorist. Navy Lt. Cmdr Timothy White also shot back at the terrorist.

But rather than being celebrated as a hero, Lt. Commander White may be charged for discharging a firearm on federal property.

Allen West reported this week that Lt. Commander Timothy White

  1. Yep - called it. There's no way they'll give any money to his family. That would be seen as antiislamist.

  2. "They" is Barack Hussein Obama. The Commander is even named "White.". Another good deed that will be punished by this Islamist becoming country.

  3. So, it is okay to be shot and killed and leave behind a wife and that many precious children, but not fight back as his wont in life as a warrior? Pure madness, I would at this time be judge by 12 then carried by 6 and resign that damnable piece of lying paper that is my commission. If he wasn't doing the one thing that is Constitutional as nothing else is, defending the the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.

  4. It would be nice if hundreds of USN officers showed up Mon morning with resignations.

  5. Didn't the DOD just come out the other day and clarify that the 'code' says it is OK to be armed at recruiting stations if it is ok with local commander? We need a new commander in chief that is a real man.

Wouldn't take much to improve on the resident. :)

    2. I think it's still unclear from what I've been able to read about.

"It isn’t clear that the DoD will authorize weapons in recruitment centers. They still work for the current administration, after all, and the administration is as anti-gun and anti-personal defense as any we’ve had in our history"

    3. Agreed and I'm amazed that this administration is even thinking about it.

    4. Lt. Cmdr White did not engage the
      terrorist attacker at recruitment
      offices.
He engaged him at the second location,
when the terrorist rammed and breached
the main gate, at the Naval Reserve center in
      Chattanooga, an actual military installation.

    5. That's really screwed. Do you have a link?

    6. Without question, this makes
the matter of him facing UCMJ
charges and likely a court martial.
that much more of a disgrace.

    7. Furthermore, a no-fly zone was
      declared over the installation, as
      "news" helicopters were broadcasting
live shots of three deceased Marines
lying on the ground in the motor pool
      area.
I was at a local gym gerbil running on
      a treadmill, and distinctly remember
the loud gasps from others who eventually
realized what they were staring at on
      screen.
CNN was the offending channel and
broadcasting the live feed from a
      local affiliate.

That did something right for a change.

  6. Welcome Comrades to the USSA! Be a good citizen surf. Do not think. Do not question. Always follow orders and always, always obey the rules. It is for your own good and safety. And Non deity's sake, never take any action on your own.
Once again no good deed (or in this case courageous action) ever goes unpunished.

  7. When the Chattanooga shooter attacked the U.S. Naval and Marine Reserve Center on July 16 with a handgun and an assault rifle, U.S. Navy officer Timothy White returned fire using his personal weapon. Another U.S. Marine may have been carrying a Glock and also returned fire on the shooter. But it turns out that defending against the mass shooter may have been illegal based upon gun control laws.

The location has been reported since the day of
    the attack.
Moreover, it is the only location where Marine and
Naval personnel were attacked, injured and killed.

  9. I myself being a disabled combat veteran, would discourage everyone from joining any branch of the military and also from entering into a law enforcement career. The odds are stacked against you, if you are not killed by an attacker you may be disabled for the rest of your life, or even worse locked up in jail for not following some irrational rules of engagement.
