'The video is worse for women than Trump': University of Alabama sorority slammed for 'racially-homogeneous' recruitment film

A University of Alabama sorority has been slammed for their recruitment video which critics are saying is racially-homogeneous and lacks diversity.

Alpha Phi, who are based at the Tuscaloosa campus, uploaded the footage to YouTube and it has since been viewed 500,000 times.

But some have accused them of selling themselves on looks alone while one writer has said they are doing more damage to women than presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The very glossy and professional film includes the group of 72, mostly-white, members partying and attending events inside their sprawling sorority house.

    I must me missing something. I see a video of a lot of nice looking young ladies having fun. In my experience Greek systems are not usually diverse by everyone's choice. Life is not usually diverse unless the government forces it. Where were the white football players and what does it have to do with Donald Trump?

    Strange, I don't recall anyone complaining about the diversity at historically Black Colleges or in the ALL-Black Frats.

    The bottom line is freedom of association. Whites aren't allowed to have it because it excludes blacks. But whites aren't lining up to associate freely with blacks.

    They do not hate our symbols and heritage so much as they hate us. You can't hate the symbols of Southerners without also hating those the symbols represent.
