In a stunning move, House Speaker John Boehner informed Republicans on
Friday that he would step down at the end of October, giving up his
coveted leadership post and his seat in Congress in the face of hardline
conservative opposition.
Good riddance. As Speaker of the House, I can think of a single thing he has done to his credit. He was always on the side of the Party of Evil. To use some one else's line: Out there is a tree tirelessly working to produce the oxygen he is breathing. John (No balls or backbone) Boehner owes it an apology. The single greatest act of service he can do for this country is to die, and yesterday would not have been soon enough.
Did you see McConnell's farewell speech for Boehner? I really do wonder what planet I am now on. This seems like a parallel universe or the Insane Asylum. No matter which, I am rapidly needing a permanent vomitorium. http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/09/25/no-budget-boehner-resigns-a-week-before-fiscal-year-begins/
Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Boehner....
