Republican presidential contenders and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell argued for the Senate to run out the clock on President Barack Obama, depriving him the chance to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by Justice Antonin Scalia’s death today.
Far left President Barack Obama will want the Republican Senate to confirm an appointment this year but this hasn’t happened since 1880.
There hasn’t been a justice nominated and confirmed in an election year by divided government since 1880.

Personally, I think he needs to come out of the closet, or admit to that affair, or whatever it is they are holding over him (pics w/underage kid is my wager). Just like Obumma's true place of birth, this information WILL be found, might as well man up and get it over with now, Mitch.

You can bet this is going to become a big political football. The only question in my mind is whether or not it gets over shadowed by either an explosion in the Middle East or an implosion of the financial markets. It either comes about you will hear the Democrats screeching about how we must have a full court in time of crisis. There has not been much coverage but Saudi Arabia has said they may send troops into Syria as early as tomorrow. They have already moved aircraft to Incilk air base in Turkey. If they and or the Turks move against Assad it will get ugly real quick. And by the hatcI mean Biblical ugly.

Obama has just a few months left to cement his legacy....and he TRULY wants to be remembered for 'remaking' America into the proverbial 'workers paradise'. He is egocentric enough to actually believe that the agenda he has been given by Soros etc. et al is GOOD. Nobody is more dangerous than someone trying to remake the world 'for your own good'.

collected by the NSA/CIA/FBI etc. I don't doubt they can come up with enough GOP turncoats to get an appointment confirmed. Once that happens look to see MASSIVE numbers of
cases brought BACK to the SCOTUS to be overturned. Chief among these will be a revisit to the Heller agreement and a liberal decision allowing .gov at all levels to essentially ban guns. From there it will only get worse. The death of Scalia and the virtual certainty of a swing from relative conservatism to communism in the SCOTUS is the most dangerous threat to the US to come along in a decade, maybe two.
The best chance/s for defeat is someone like Holder, not some unknown who shares his views.
