WOW!
Tom Delay: It’s not stealing the nomination. It’s the process. People need to realize that this is not an election of a president. This is the nomination of a candidate. And there’s a process and there’s rules and everybody has a fair shot at those rules. But in the end, the representatives, the delegates make the decision at the convention one way or another. And if no candidate gets to the convention with the majority of the votes then the delegates, duly elected to represent the people who have voted, get to decide. It’s not stealing anything.

Tom Delay, Newt Gingrich and Vin Webber were early baby boomer republicans who always sold themselves to voters as conservatives. Not one of them was conservative...they were in the same mold as the Teddy Roosevelt progressives. Nothing was unconstitutional and no level of spending was excessive. They were the best political friends that a Boehner or McConnell could expect. Unfortunately there are still too many of them in office.
ReplyDeleteWell said. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteTell that to the Trump voters and see how much mileage it gets you. The Trump voters ain't the couch-sitters; they're the ones willing and capable of throwing the couch out the door with the couch-sitters still sitting on it.
The delegates elected for Trump had better be very faithful when the time comes to do their job.

They best or retribution will be mine says everyone. :)
DeleteDon't look down your condescending nose at us, you piece of slime. We are well aware that we elect the delegates and they had better vote the way they are told to by the voters. We are watching every one of you closely and are aware of your tricks and lies. Go back under that rock you slithered out from. You people are disgusting and we are so done with you!!!
ReplyDeletewe are so done with you!
ReplyDeleteHopefully.
