Sept. 6, 2002 - Thirty years after Ishmael Ali LaBeet and four associates massacred eight people with gunfire at the St. Croix golf club today known as Carambola, the Virgin Islands' most wanted criminal remains a fugitive since skyjacking an airplane and forcing its pilot to take him to Cuba in 1984.
LaBeet, who was born on St. Thomas but was living on St. Croix after his discharge from the U.S. Army, was sentenced along with the other four defendants to eight consecutive life terms in 1973 for the murder of eight people in what became known as "the Fountain Valley massacre."

I have been trying without success to find a source that names the eight victims. I found sources that say the eight victims were all white tourists, which is incorrect. Also, that four were white tourists and the others were resort employees. The brother of one of those convicted for the crime, has written a book dedicated to the victims. His brother was the only one let out of prison due to his exemplary behavior during incarceration. A few years later he was found dead of a drug overdose, ruled a suicide (some say he was poisoned because he was going to start talking about insider information). LaBeet is a hard-core commie, but that doesn't mean he wasn't also an early bloomer jihadist inspired by the Munich Olympic massacre.
