I bought a used one in 1977 in a Camino Capistrano, CA gun shop for $175.  I sold/traded it for an AK and a Saiga 12 in 2008 and and thought I did great, well today a 1995 model goes for: $8,000.00

  1. I've got a 7 & 3/4 inch Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum I bought in Tampa in 1991 for $500.00, About three months ago a guy offered me $2500.00 for it and I told him to stuff it ! .... before you tell me I'm crazy, It's the only gun I ever owned that my Late Wife ever wanted to shoot .... She called it her cannon .... Damn I miss that Woman ! !

    2. Thank you and I hope time eases all wounds as my mother was fond of saying, but unfortunately it does not. Mt sister mentioned that after her husband died, when I could finally say his name without crying, but that's difficult also.

  2. Eight grand for a production model - holy moly, thats just nuts. My Uncle owned a nickled 6" years ago and it didn't appear to shoot any better than our Ruger Security-Six with same length barrel. Beautiful gun though.

  4. Do you still have the Saiga 12 Brock?

    What was the AK?

  5. Yes and a Bulgarian with blonde wood. The Saiga has a brake on it, but has to be removed to fit in the case. 10 shells with the TAPCO is a killer. :)

  6. .357 is just about my favorite caliber. My 4" surplus police issue .357 Magnum with fixed sites is still the most consistently accurate piece in my arsenal

    1. Interesting. I carry a LCR .357 in my pocket. At 17 ounces, it kicks, needless to say, but so do my .45's. The biggest difference is the sting on the .357.
