The fake Indian meets the flake. :)
There has been some chatter in recent weeks that Hillary Clinton isn’t actually the Democratic Party’s intended 2016 nominee. That chatter was amplified last week when the ever-inebriated former House Speaker John Boehner, the quintessential “establishment Republican,” endorsed Donald Trump while maligning Trump’s conservative opponent, Ted Cruz. (No small irony that Boehner’s abject failure as speaker has largely fueled Trump’s populist appeal.)
Amid the fratricidal mayhem, you may have missed this Boehner prediction: “Don’t be shocked if two weeks before the convention, here comes Joe Biden parachuting in and Barack Obama fanning the flames to make it all happen.”

Biden? Seriously? WTF! I was going to beg and plead with the Democratic party faithful to have some self-respect and select some one who could be a credible standard bearer for their party. I have my doubts about who sane and mentally stable this guy is based on his public comments. Remember too, that he was selected for the VP position for his experience in the areas that Obama was lacking in. BTW, just how well did that turn out? When was the last time the media sought him out for his considered opinion on, let's say foreign policy matters? When was the last you read some written by him and thought; that is a very good point. Tell me, what was the most insightful and profound thing said by Biden?
ReplyDeleteThen I remembered this quote: Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake. So, I hope they keep doing what they are doing. At least when the SHTF, it will have some entertainment value to it.
:) I could have a beer with him.
