Catching a lot of Spanish Mackerel in the day, but the sharks get about half before you can bring them to the pier.:) Really exciting as we see sharks getting hooked and fighting on top of the water. Blues at night and much more. Try your luck!
Hi Brock, You just reminded me..."Spot Season" is about to be upon us at "Topsail!!" Hoping to "break free' and maybe I can catch the tail end....The "Jolly Roger Pier" me and my Peggy's favorite Beach Fishin' spot!! Caught lots of Spots too!!!!! Got "Spots!!!," III%, skybill-out
Good stuff, Brock. My kid and I finally made it out to the pier at Surf City to fish, nothing but mullet and stingray.
ReplyDeleteBack to laying around on the beach this weekend but only because it keeps 'the war department' happy/

Yes, indeed and we're only one hour 15 minutes apart if you ever get the chance.
DeleteI loved the NC beaches I saw. I'm going to frame some of the pics I took and hang them in my sewing room.
