To fund construction of a new U.S. border wall, Donald Trump and senior advisers are considering various ideas, including the use of assets seized from drug cartels and others in the illicit drug trade.

As the debate over who will pay for the wall dominates the discussion on cable news, sources involved in the pre-planning of the GOP nominee’s Mexico trip told LifeZette the Trump camp is looking for innovative ways to pay for the construction of the border wall that both countries can support. Sensitivities in Mexico regarding Trump’s visit, and specifically paying for the border wall, are running high.

  2. I have a better Idea how to pay for it. Seize all the assets of all the Clinton's phony foundations under the RICO statutes. Should be more than enough.

  4. I like that idea about using seized Mexico drug cartel funds for the wall. I don't see why the average citizen, American or Mexican would complain about that.

  5. Never forget that the Mexican ruling class encourages illegal immigration to the United States for its economic benefits: i.e., the money that flows southward from the illegals to their families still in Mexico. That regime would be violently opposed to allowing moneys seized from the supposedly hated drug cartels to go anywhere but into the regime's pockets.

The extent of corruption among Mexico's political class makes American political corruption look like a nursery game.
