Conservative talk radio host and former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh fired off a series of tweets Wednesday night advocating for Republicans to engage in civil disobedience if Donald Trump loses the presidency.
“On November 8th, I’m voting for Trump. On November 9th, if Trump loses, I’m grabbing my musket. You in?” wroteMr. Walsh, host of the “The Joe Walsh Show,” based in Chicago.

I sometimes wonder if we were this divided in 1861. Regardless how that question is answered it is painfully obvious there is no "union" other than under threat and application of force, leaving the question of how best to find a way to allow for what one would hope to be a peaceful solution, returning the people to a state where government rules at the consent of the governed.

Maybe more so and the only peaceful solution is secession.
DeleteCertainly if one agrees with the premise that people are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights along with the idea of representative government that would be the case but as the last effort a peaceful secession proved, it ain't always peaceful.
