 While most voters prefer that candidates stick to the issues, we will not improve Congress until we have representatives who care about honesty and who will not deliberately lie to the voters – regardless of their stand on the issues. A perfect example of this is the race in Oregon’s 4th Congressional district between Art Robinson and incumbent Peter DeFazio. If you have any doubts about whether or not DeFazio cares about the truth, simply check DeFazio’s website posting for October 7th 2016. It is an article written by DeFazio in response to publication of Art Robinson’s voters’ pamphlet statement.
