The inmates are in charge of the asylum.
California has created a travel ban of its own, which prohibits its
own public university students from traveling to “anti-LGBT” states.
The law that went into effect Jan. 1 prohibits state-funded travel to states that are not LGBT-friendly, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.
The law prevents students of the University of California and California State University from traveling to four states outlined by California attorney general Xavier Becerra, including Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee.

ReplyDeleteIn the eighties it was still sane.

DeleteDon't bother coming to South Dakota either, and to think I was forced to live there in the 70's, what I am glad is I left in 76 to enlist and never went back, it was turning weird back then!
ReplyDeleteFallbrook is quite good, but in 2000? A parent called my wife and asked if we had any guns in the house to which she replied yes. The parent then stated her child wouldn't be coming to Dixie's birthday party. My wife couldn't understand that.
DeleteAnd what would be said if other States suppressed freedom by banning travel to California because of their leftist authoritarian policies? Let's see if the MSM reports this and rightly labels it intolerant bigotry. Personally I wouldn't travel to a slave State, you know, the ones that deny the basic human right of armed self defense, but others should be free to do that. --Ron W
ReplyDeleteYou can take weapons there, but of course they are limited.
DeleteSince California has become so Mexicanized, I think they'll find those affected will just ignore the law, and lie about going to the states prohibited.
ReplyDeletePossible.
DeleteThey may the false assumption that we would want them here. Shit we've already got the Charlotte city council and way to many unassimilated Yankees. Why would we want these morons from the land of granola; fruits, nuts and loose flakes.

It amazes me how many people embrace and relish the shackles of totalitarianism.
ReplyDeleteInsane.
DeleteIt's because: "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it." The quote is most likely due to George Santayana, and in its original form it read, 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.' The phrasing itself certainly is catchy. (Google search)
DeleteThanks.
DeleteAnd WE'RE the fascists?!
ReplyDeleteHow about they can be commies and we can be fascists? :) They can't stand to be commies so never miss a chance!
DeleteFascism and communism are both far left, totalarian systems. I suppose people think they're opposites since Hitler's Germany fought Stalin's Russia in WWII. But like Gen George Patton correctly said, we fought and defeated one despotic enemy only to, in craven appeasement, turn much of Europe over to a worse one. --Ron W
ReplyDeleteRight on!
DeleteThanks. I appreciate your informed reply, but I was simply making lite of what they call us.
