Did the Recent House Intelligence Wiretap Confirmation Prove Comey Lied Under Oath?

House Intelligence chair, Devin Nunes dropped a bombshell today when he confirmed that President-elect Trump and his transition team were surveilled from Election Day to Inauguration Day. He also said that he put in a call to FBI Director, Comey and has yet to hear back.

Did FBI Director, Comey perjure himself after he just testified under oath in front of the House Intelligence Committee claiming that there was no truth to Trump’s wiretap claims? Comey was very careful how he worded things…looks like he’s splitting hairs…

    Comey is an embarrassment to the FBI. He lacks integrity, impartiality and good judgement. Comey should resign as FBI Director. If he doesn't resign he should be fired.

    Isn’t “lying under oath” also called perjury? Not uncommon anymore. Remember when James Clapper lied to Congress. When caught in the lie his answer was, “So I responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or least untruthful.” So, lying is now “the least untruthful” answer, and apparently acceptable. Therefore, when FBI Director James Comey answered, “There was no truth to Trump’s wiretap claims.” He could be answering using “least untruthful” answer.

      A long way from the civics in my high school. I remember being taught about the "banana republics" of Central and South America. We were all shocked and laughed. Yet today, America looks more like a banana republic, than the Constitutional Republic it was designed to be.

      From the attacks from the left and their news media, I doubt anything short of civil war will save our republic. It is clear there is no honor or honesty at the top of our government. The FBI, NSA, and other intelligence agencies all care more for their agenda than America. That agenda is nonstop war to enhance their power and control.

    After watching this POS in various "hearings" over the last 8 months, do we really need to be asking this question??? If you can't tell a liar from an honest person by now, it's little surprise the deep state is as entrenched as is.

    According to Wiki, Civics is only taught in eight states (and North Carolina isn't one of them). I find this hard to believe and very, very sad. No wonder our young citizens are clueless.
