Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body.
The Los Angeles Unified School District provides more funding for schools where the white population is below 30 percent.
In a letter to parents, the district noted the highly regarded middle school had been above the percentage for the past couple years.

This has been going on for a while. I was a school nurse
ReplyDeleteat a small Western North Carolina school with poor all
White attendance. The counselor told me the school could
not receive any fed assistance because they had no blacks,
Mexicans or any other mish mash. This was back in the
early nineties. These so-called leaders are plotting
against the people and sticking their noses in places it
never belonged. No wonder the schools are failing now
days. These kids parents paid taxes too yet they are
discriminated against.
Thanks, pathetic and infuriating.
ReplyDeleteAmong the many related notes would be one from my father and the SBA. My father sought to open and small business and went to the SBA for a loan of $10,000. He was told he did not "quality" but if he would take on a black "partner" they would hand over %50,000.00. That, my friends, was in 1973.

Had no idea this was prevalent back then.
DeleteCan I delegate to the government the authority to take some money from you and give it to the guy down the street because he is broke?
ReplyDeleteNO!
To do so is communism. It is suppose to be stricly
voluntary. I remember when the Universal Tax showed up
on my telephone bill. I refused to pay it. They have no
authority to force an individual to pay for someone else.
Agreed.
