I agree. The Left is afraid to debate the Right because the facts are becoming very clear what occurred. By stopping conservative speech, their side narrative remains in limelight.
Dismantling the NOL civil war monuments does nothing to erase history, but without visual memories, people forget what happened and why they occurred. THEN the story is manipulated by historians to fit their narrative. ISIS destroys Middle Eastern museums for the same way - to erase evidence.
