"Anti-South hysteria joined by Camels"

A Florida woman recently filed a lawsuit in Mississippi’s Harrison County Circuit Court against the United Sons of Confederate Veterans, claiming that a camel named Sir Camelot attacked her at Beauvoir, the site of the Jefferson Davis Home and Presidential Library.

Davis, the president of the Confederacy, lived at the Biloxi home from 1879 until his death in 1889. The Sons of Confederate Veterans now own the house, having upheld the promise that “once the last veteran, wife, and/or widow leaves here, then property would be shrine to Jefferson Davis.”

    I hope she doesn't win the case and somehow confiscate their assets, including the house.

      They have insurance and the SCV is well off.

      Forgot to mention that for years the SCV has been worried about someone bringing a lawsuit against the SCV for something that might happen at one of the Sam Davis Camps, so it will be a separate entity next year. https://freenorthcarolina.blogspot.com/2017/05/sam-davis-youth-camp-to-separate-from.html

      That's smart. Because yea clearly a goal is to sue.

      I dunno why these people don't target the SPLC. It's stinking rich.
