Has Google, the world’s most popular search engine, changed the definition of the word “fascism” to protect liberal mobs using violence to silence those who disagree with them politically? The evidence suggest they have.
You see it on signs at every protest or riot — liberals accuse President Donald Trump of being a fascist. The word’s association with Adolf Hitler and its use now is no accident, it’s meant to strike fear in people’s hearts of tyranny.
Merriam-Webster defines the word “fascism” as “a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.” The secondary definition is “a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control.”
This definition reflects the fact that Nazis were, in fact, both fascists and of the political left. They were the “National Socialist German Workers Party,” which favored a heavy-handed government in business and the personal lives of its citizens.

Total gov't control (left)<----------------- limited Constitutional gov't-------->anarchy (right)
ReplyDeleteOn an objective political scale, fascism, communism, socialism, dictatorship are all left wing, just as the actual German name for the acronym, NAZI, indicated. It's quite obvious that our own left wing politicians are authoritarian wanting more government control, excepting allowing the killing of the unborn for any and all reasons until and including the moment of birth. --Ron W
Well said.
DeleteAnarchy is most certainly not right wing.
ReplyDeleteLeft wing has to do with supporters of the French Revolution.
Right wing has to do with defenders of the Ancien Regime.
Socialists, Atheists, and Anarchists are of the Left...
Defenders of order, hierarchy (including monarchy & aristocracy), tradition, nation, and faith are of the Right.
Small groups are what oppose globalism anyway, not individuals, certainly not anarchy. And it's revealing how those advocating for "individualism" and "anarchy" tend to oppose the little groups that actually resist globalism.

DeleteWell said.
"Anarchy" in this context simply means no government, which on an objective left-right political spectrum is the opposite extreme of no government. Our Constitutional Republic of limited government by "delegated powers" and a Bill of Rights for Liberty is certainly well to the right of the total Goverment of the left. Certainly leftist protestors do use anarchy as a criminal means to foster chaotic conditions intended to bring in total government. --Ron W
Deleteleftist protestors do use anarchy as a criminal means to foster chaotic conditions intended to bring in total government.
DeleteAmen.
Someone in Chronicles one time described fascism as "radical centre", because it has traits of both the right and left wings.
ReplyDeleteI would generally add that decentralisation is "right wing", bc modern societies tend to be much more centralised.
modern societies tend to be much more centralised.
DeleteBoy, aren't they.......
"modern socities tend to be much more centralized" is true. There's a quote the author of which I forget right now, "tyranny is always better organized than Liberty" . And as the Roman historian, Tacitus observed, "the more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws". --Ron W
DeleteThey also re-defined Nazism as a "far-right" political movement...National Socialists defines it as not-so-far left, correct?
ReplyDeleteSocialism is definitely on the left.
DeleteYes, Socialism is definitely on the left, just a little less than Communism as explained here by the late Mike Vanderbeough, a former Comminist who repented to be a Christian Libertarian, "I once got my daughter Zoe in trouble at school when she answered the social studies teacher's question, "What is the difference between socialism and communism?" A socialist she explained (as she had learned at her daddy's knee), was a communist who had not yet found his AK-47 or the will to use it, and a communist was a socialist who had found his AK-47 and would kill you with it."
ReplyDeleteAlso, a correction to the first sentence of my second comment: "Anarchy" in this context simply means no government, which on a left-right political spectrum, is the opposite extreme of TOTAL government. --Ron W
Thanks and I remember that quote.
