It could have been an article posted here: Somewhere it was written how fully switching over to electric cars would require a massive expansion of US powerlines.
ReplyDeleteWe tend to assume electric cars are part of the move to solar, that power companies won't need to supply the power for those cars; but utilities do inevitably provide a significant portion of that power.
The Green stuff is rarely what it seems :)
I still like electric cars though - potential independence.
