President Trump is laying the groundwork for withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement, launching a process that is likely to take some years.
The details of the withdrawal are still in the works and the effort is being led by Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt, according to Axios, which reported Wednesday on the direction the administration is taking.

In America, signing a treaty is meaningless until the Senate ratifies it. Americans should know that voting in a President who doesn't know that is just stupid. Trump doesn't need to withdraw from the climate treaty, since it is already not a "real" thing. He should just tell the government bureaucracy that they are forbidden from spending tax money paying any attention to any part of it until the Senate ratifies it, and he won't be asking the Senate to do that.
