  1. no, it does not. like it or not this is a part of our history and should not be removed on behalf of a small percentage of the population that is racist even more so than than the people they claim to be racist.

  4. Monuments and Memorials to the founding fathers and ALL of our military heroes are appropriate. I do regard monuments and memorials to politicians and bureaucrats to be nothing short of idol worship required by the sorry ass state of the state. I am only surprised that the state has not yet mandated the removal of all crosses. indyjonesouthere

  5. Brock. Of course I love them and anything historical of the period. Same with the revolution. Same with WWII and I. Korea. Vietnam and so forth. It is how we have our identity as a nation. Leftists just hate the country and that's that

  6. Is that a trick question? LOL
Of course, I am not offended by Confederate monuments or markers. I am offended by ignorant people parroting an ideology which they are actually ignorant of and of groups exploiting any situation to further their design by attempting to re-write history whether it be ISIS, the SPLC. or any other group who fails to recognize the Constitution. As of late the SPLC hasn't thrown Sodomites from buildings, beheaded individuals because they do not follow muhamad (intentionally misspelled), or driven trucks through crowds killing innocent women and children, but I feel they are not far from it. The left is going to have to tone down the rhetoric or face the consequences of their actions. It is time to name the real haters in our country and deal with them appropriately. Deo Vindice

    1. No. Absolutely, no. They stand as a testament to the bravery of men (and women and children) who fought against tyranny and for a just "Cause." Long must these courageous men, women, children, civilians, and political leaders be remembered and long must these monuments, memorials stand!

  8. Offend me ? No, not at all. I am not a fan of slavery or even the Confederacy. BUT what happened is historical fact and attempting to erase it is far worse than acknowledging what happened - IT IS OUR HISTORY THEY ARE ERASING. To me, it is like erasing what America did to the American Indian.
