A deadly mistake
Senator Sessions must have seen the position of attorney general as a greater opportunity to improve law enforcement, particularly in the immigration realm which has veered into near-anarchy after eight years of open-borders Obama. Sessions likely could have kept his Senate seat indefinitely: one measure of his popularity at home is that he ran unopposed in both the primary and general election in 2014.
On March 22, General Sessions announced that the government would begin to withdraw funding from sanctuary cities that protect dangerous illegal alien criminals. On April 28, the AG visited Long Island to offer strategies of help for law enforcement officials plagued by gang violence.

I agree - Trump should seriously think twice before firing AG Sessions. Sessions has been forthright in his positions and Trump should have the patience to deal with investigations into his past. (Mr. President - the Dems and RINOs are just trying to run the clock out and distract you from your agenda. To Hell with them - keep on making America great!).
ReplyDeleteSessions isn't perfect but he's the man for this job. If you want Giulani, pick another position - plenty of them to go around.
Plus I understand Giulani would have a difficult time getting confirmed.
DeleteI'm going with my theory President Trump and AG Sessions are colluding in a great plot to disarm the Liberal MSM and Liberals in general. What better way to convince your enemies (That includes many Rhinos)you're infighting, but when the dust settles Donald & Jeff are standing arm in arm.
ReplyDeleteAs usual where DJT is concerned, just wait and see.
