National security adviser H.R. McMaster told former national security adviser Susan Rice in April that she would continue to have access to classified information, and that he would waive a "need-to-know" requirement when it comes to accessing classified information contained in documents she saw or received during her time as national security adviser, according to a report.

The letter was sent from McMaster to Rice's home in April, according to Circa, and the president didn't know about either the letter or McMaster's decision to allow Rice to keep her Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.

"Going forward, the NSC will continue to work with you to ensure the appropriate security clearance documentation remains on file to allow you access to classified information," McMaster said in his letter.

    1. On the agenda, I read.

When Trump took power and forgave many people for their hostility in the past, I thought how magnanimous, but they obviously didn't reciprocate. It is long overdue to fire everyone possible who worked for the previously administration.

  3. McMaster has been very disappointing. His CV is excellent and "Dereliction of Duty" was extremely enlightening. I thought he was an excellent choice for National Security Adviser. However, by all accounts he has been working as a Democratic operative within the Trump administration. He should be reassigned. Perhaps he can guard igloos in Alaska.

  4. He's not with the program. Fire him!

As for Susan Rice, she probably committed the only known crime so far in the "Russian collusion" investigation by unmasking Gen Flynn's name, likely ordered by Obama, but I'm sure he insulated himself some way--or made it clear that she or some others should "take the fall". --Ron W

  7. President Trump didn't and may still not understand the age old survival dictate: "No quarter given and no quarter expected." The American people are going to pay dearly for his lack of militant discipline. Nice guys finish last, Mr. President.
