Al Sharpton: Jefferson Memorial Should Come Down
Erase the Pilgrims, the Stamp Act,the Revolutionary War and the Whisky
Rebellion. Erase the Civil War and all of its participants. Don't erase
slavery, because whites should pay eternal penance, but do erase white
slavery i.e., indentured servants, because it doesn't fit the narrative.
Erase WW1. Please erase WW2 as we discriminated against the Japanese.
Just because we put Pearl Harbor in the path of their bombs was no
excuse to declare war. We clearly misunderstood the Germans who I'm sure
meant no harm to Jews, France, Belgium, Russia, etc. We should
apologize to everyone for dropping those nasty atomic bombs and forget
that they saved the millions of lives an invasion would have cost. Let's
erase the Korean War because we overreacted to North Korea invading
South Korea.
Ignore the Vietnamese War, particularly since the Democrats
got us into the war and a Republican got us out of it. Erase the
subsidies we have paid to blacks over the decades, for all the good it's
done. Forget 911 because Islam is a religion of peace. Tear down
everything prior to 2017 and start over. In fact, erase yesterday so
that we have no history and no baggage. Those who don't know history are
doomed to repeat it; those without history have no point of reference."
This take down "offending" statues seems to be a one-way street as usual with the liberals. I'm offended by statues of Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson and JFK. I'm sure many others are. But any call for their removal will be net with verbal abuse. This who thing is a subterfuge design to hide the left's real motives. Destroy Constitutional America and install Communist America. Sadly, due to University Communists teachers propounding Marxist ideology for decades America has a whole crop of brainwashed individuals who are on board with the transformation.

Thanks.
Some details in that I disagree with. We didn't need Japan to totally surrender, for example. The Japanese were cruel and brutal though. They aren't innocent by any means. And the Japanese refuse even today to admit their crimes. Though, to their defence, they're also very polite today.
ReplyDeleteBut regardless, we should remember the history as it is. It's frightening how "historians" can pick and choose what's remembered. History ought to be non-fiction.

DeleteLike the Yankees. :)

History ought to be non-fiction.
But that would be logical.........! :)
Year Zero is a good label: They'd love to forget Christ as well. That change will happen at some point. Someone will declare it "progress" and "love"... Then instead of AD and BC, we'll have something new. Year Zero, the day secularists purged the world of all history, culture, identity, memory.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can dig up Pol Pot to help with year zero........:)
DeleteOld Abe did have his moments. Don't believe I've read this
ReplyDeletequote but relevant.......
Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man. Abraham Lincoln.
But no calls to bring him down. Hypocrites.
Good point. An inconvenience truth.
