Supreme Court asks Mississippi governor for defense of Confederate symbol on state flag

Ridiculous as it was adopted in 1892.

The controversy over Confederate symbols may soon arrive at the Supreme Court, stemming from a dispute coming from Mississippi.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant's attorneys to file arguments by Sept. 28 in defense of the Confederate battle symbol on Mississippi's state flag, according to the Associated Press.

    I must have missed the ENUMERATED power that grants SCOTUS the power to determine anything about a state's flag. But then again, tyrants, Marxist and otherwise, never needed a power beyond the end of a gun.

      Francis Marion wouldn't have lost to the North. Sherman might have burned everything down, but Marion would have won eventually.
