Leaders of Virginia Military Institute said Tuesday that the school will keep its Confederate statues and consider adding more historical context in the aftermath of last month’s violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville. (The violence was initiated by the commies, as usual)
At
a VMI board of visitors meeting Tuesday, VMI Superintendent J.H.
Binford Peay III defended the school’s traditions while declaring that
“there’s no place for discrimination” at the state-supported military
college. The school, founded in Lexington before the outbreak of the
Civil War, has continually evolved since it was racially integrated in
1968, Peay said.

I recommended this blog to my friend who has been enjoying it very much. He is from a Southern Family but I forgot the details.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteDisgracing the South is disgraceful.
ReplyDeleteQuite good.
DeleteShocked to see a school with the balls to stand against tyranny. Let's hope they continue, once they are in the crosshairs. Their announcement to keep the statues, is a declaration of war to the left. They have no idea the hell coming their way.

ReplyDeleteGood response by the admin. Thanks.
DeleteWell, yea, VMI is right there with W&L. If the one changes, then the other is sure to follow.
ReplyDeleteW&L exudes Lee. It's one of the few schools I've seen that isn't like every other school. W&L has its own character, as you'd expect to see hundreds of years ago when we had decentralised societies.
Unfortunately W&L does have commie professors now.
