    I love the version of this that is on the LP "Electric Mud". I remember buying it at a local record store back in about 1969 or somewhere thereabouts....................

      Muddy Waters had a cool backing band, Rotary Connection, for the "Electric Mud" album. They are mostly known for having Minnie Ripperton as a band member. If you have never heard any of their stuff, give a listen to their cover of "Sunshine Of You Love". She does this really high pitched thing with her voice that makes it sound like some kind of weird instrument. And yes, I bought the album with that song on it, too.............
