I've been to Iran, before the revolution. Wonderful, friendly people - at least, per my childhood recollection.My Iranian coworker is fashionable, intelligent, and hardworking (and annoyingly hot). My wife's Persian friends are likewise very secular.It would be a great thing if Persia could free itself from the Mullahs and regain the modernity that the late Shah was pushing.
