Two of my wife's sisters and two of her brothers. We brought 1, 2 and 4 (L to R) over on the evacuation. Hue, the one on the far left, is seen below in a picture I took inside the C-141 on the way to Clark AFB, PI. Crying below and happy above. :) Last picture below taken in Little Saigon 1976/7?

The Saigon fares are cheap considering you are going half way around the world from the east cost but only if go the most popular route for the airlines. For instance, if you wanted to go the Australia and stop before Saigon, forget it! Just checked and

ReplyDeleteThey have blossomed to over 100 which should show that 'chain migration' needs to be curtailed although some came as Boat people which is a different story. All very successful. The man in the white shirt above (Larry in the link below) has four children, 3 are MD's and the 4th is still in medical school. The most recent graduate, a girl makes $300K at Kaiser.
