President Trump on Saturday defended his decision
to send the Democrats' memo on the Russia probe back for edits --
accusing them of playing politics for submitting a document laden with
“sources and methods” too sensitive to make public.
“The Democrats sent a very political
and long response memo which they knew, because of sources and methods
(and more), would have to be heavily redacted, whereupon they would
blame the White House for lack of transparency,” Trump tweeted early
Saturday morning. “Told them to re-do and send back in proper form!”

This was the silliest, most obvious, ploy ever. Everyone knew what the Democrats were going to do and they did it anyway. Adam Schiff deserves a punch for thinking the American people are that stupid. The rest of the world is laughing their asses off.

I'd have agreed to release the memo, AS IS. With the statement, for transparency, I am releasing the democratic memo, as written. Then the democrats would have had two options, both bad. Do nothing and expose sensitive information. Or back up the bus and call back the memo for revision.

DeleteThen it would be released and too late for them not to expose it.
