A pro-gun group has filed a federal lawsuit against a Chicago suburb that banned so-called “assault rifles” as well as high-capacity magazines, a press release stated.
The Second Amendment Foundation made the announcement just days after Deerfield, Illinois passed the ban, saying that it violated state law.

DeleteFunny. But the one thing no one on the right has talked about. Illinois is said to have a pre-emption law like Kentucky's. Only the state can make any new gun law or ordinance. If the law I read was real and not "fake" propaganda. The township's ordinance was void before it was passed. Lexington Ky. tried this when Obama was in office and got promptly smacked down. Lets see how this plays out in court.--Ray

Actually it was a very smart move to allow bureaucrats NOT to be held accountable for their actions. Otherwise if they were, there would be many who would have had their careers cut very, very short; at the end of a rope

Deletefull auto does do several things for you. it decreases the accuracy and effectiveness of your aimed fire, causes your enemy to concentrate their offensive fire upon you in order to reduce your firepower, it quickly consumes your ammunition supply at which point you become vulnerable to massed counterattack.
ReplyDeleteon the other hand, by using the tactical advantage of grazing fire to keep the other guys heads down; gaining the initiative for a tactical assault is always a good thing.
best defense is usually a great offense. you would be amazed at the reactions of people who have never been exposed to the nasty surprise. of automatic weapons fire.
all of that said, the only reason for civilians to have an automatic weapon that makes any sense at all is that they want one and that is good enough for me.
gotta draw the line at artillery, though.

DeleteThe problem is that between Clinton, Dubya and Obozo the judiciary in America has been PACKED to the gills with agenda driven libs loyal to the communist agenda. We say this just last week when Judge Young ruled that the Massatwoshits law prohibiting AR15 rifles etc and standard capacity 30 round mags was perfectly legal and that such items were NOT PROTECTED by the Second Amendment. There is simply NO BASIS in law, fact, reality or the Consitution to support his ruling. And he DOES NOT CARE. He was placed on the bench to serve the liberal agenda....NOT to uphold the law or the Constitution. And almost EVERY lawsuit pertaining to the Second Amendment faces the same predicament. It will be heard in a court by a judge handpicked to DESTROY FREEDOM and DENY OUR RIGHTS.
