Knives are too sharp and filing them down is solution to soaring violent crime, judge says

A judge has proposed a nationwide programme to file down the points of kitchen knives as a solution to the country’s soaring knife crime epidemic.

Last week in his valedictory address, retiring Luton Crown Court Judge Nic Madge spoke of his concern that carrying a knife had become routine in some circles and called on the Government to ban the sale of large pointed kitchen knives.

    In any totalitarian state their are two things that government cannot allow. It cannot allow its rules to look impotent and its rulers to look stupid. Like communists who's economic programs fail, the rulers of modern England MUST find a scapegoat and silence everyone or be seen as both stupid and impotent. The good news (if there is any) is that the British establishment is failing in every way, and doing it so fast and so utterly that true civil war has become a very real risk for England in the near term.--Ray
