Sen. John McCain
(R-Ariz.) said he regrets choosing former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R)
to be his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign.
The New York Times reported on Saturday that
McCain, while still defending Palin’s performance, said in his upcoming
book, “The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and
other Appreciations,” that he wishes he had instead selected former Sen.
Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.)

McCain has become a real whinny baby. Palin is the only reason I voted for the repub ticket.
ReplyDeleteA lady, she is.
DeleteDitto. If she wasn't on the ticket he would have been really hosed...
DeleteAgreed.
DeletePalin was the only reason he did as well as he did.
DeleteSurprising to me that he did pick her.
DeleteWell, in some respects I wish he had to, as he sullied her political chances at higher office.

Thanks.
DeleteMcCain has become a bitter old man. He could have gone out with dignity but chose instead to sully his reputation. I won't be sad to see him go.
