After White House press secretary Sarah Sanders and her family were kicked out of a Virginia restaurant
on Friday evening, the owner of the establishment followed the group
and kept berating them, Mike Huckabee, Sanders’ father and the former
Arkansas governor, told Fox Business on Monday.
“In fact, a little known part of this
story, is that after Sarah and her husband left and the family
relocated to a restaurant across the street, the owner of the Red Hen
then organized an effort to go and scream at them from the sidewalk at
the other restaurant,” Huckabee claimed in an interview on “The Intelligence Report with Trish Regan.”

The owner had the right to refuse service , similar to the recently adjudicated bakers situation. However, that should have been the end of it! There was no call to organize and cross the street and continue heckling. What ever happened to the all inclusiveness, the love everyone free to be you and me let's all go out and hug a tree and sing kumbaya that the left is supposed to embrace?
ReplyDeleteHere's what needs to happen. Gather a bunch of Trump supporters, enough to fill the place and hit it around dinner time. Sit down and have the most expensive meals on the menu. After the meals are consumed and before the bill arrives, all will whip out their bright red MAGA hats and see what happens. If you get the same treatment as Sarah, collectively get up and walk out without paying. If that doesn't happen do it anyway as a form of protest. Freedom of expression and all that doncha know.
Just as the owner expressed her freedom of expression by crossing the street to continue the battle.

DeleteSo be it.
If you can ogranite a flash mob, the proper course is to take up space and order nothing during peak dinner times. Order coffee. Water instead of profitable drinks. Leave zero tips. Sit at the table and linger over your apetizer plate without finishing it. Then after you are asked to leave, make a show of being LGBT (no proof needed) and loudly complain that the management is homophobic. Bonus if you are black or hispanic.
ReplyDeleteThe key is to be legal and deny them profits. It's their rule. You are just forcing them to live by it.
