CHECKMATE – Saudi Crown Prince MbS Sends Replacement Troops To Defend Kurds in Syria…

Via Daniel

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the DC Decepticons are concerned about the Kurdish groups in Syria as the President Trump withdraws U.S. forces.  The concern stems from a possibility of Turkey taking hostile action toward our Kurdish allies.  However, a new report from the region highlights Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is sending his forces to replace the U.S. troops.
SAUDI ARABIA – Saudi Arabia and the UAE have sent military forces to areas controlled by the Kurdish YPG group in north-east Syria, Turkey’s Yenisafak newspaper reported.
The paper said the forces will be stationed with US-led coalition troops and will support its tasks with huge military enforcements as well as heavy and light weapons.

  1. I see this as a move that will escalate into something a bit larger.

Trump should have listened to Mattis.

    1. My view:I don't see how removing our 20K forces could make much difference unless Turkey is being held back only because the US presence.

  2. the mission creep in syria needed to be stopped. we cramped isis style there, but then the politicians found more ways to get involved in that utter quagmire. syria has always been a lose, lose lose situation. non-combatants are the primary targets/hostages of every armed person there.
getting the US away from the disasters happening there is better than abetting what is happening there. the russians did not learn from their vietnam(afgan) just as we did not learn from ours. how to defeat a powerful aggressive country is to simply outlast them. eventually they want to go home unless there is an underlying reason for them to stay. why is russia still in syria?

I've never understood why any country takes our word after Vietnam.

  3. By the way, what happened to the "anti-war" movement which was predominant in the Democratic Party? Seems when Obama was elected, it was suppressed. Cindy Sheehan, who was a hero of the left during the Bush Administration, was pushed aside. There are still a scant few who have sided with Trump, there's bipartisan resistance against removing troops abroad, from most anywhere fighting wars. Yet the same politicians oppose them just for support roles on our own border when the Constitution specifies our military to "repel invasions"!!!??? --Ron W

  4. I say let them secure their own back yards and we can secure ours. They need weapons, we sell them weapons. We can have qtly., semi-annual or annual war games to keep in touch, focused and sharp.

  5. Gleason, that sounds like a very logical, reasonable and Constitutional plan. We simply need compliance from those we've elected and EMPLOYED to administrate OUR government. The only problem is a mechanism to promptly remove those who refuse to comply with their DELEGATED powers. --Ron W

  6. Another dumb ass move by Mr. Maga.
Deceive the US public, and world, by pulling US troops out.
Knowing full well the Saudis will slide in.
Let Syria have all of Syria back.

  7. This is a chance for muslims to police muslims if indeed they don't want us "foreigners" interfering in their countries. They either step up and git er dun or they will once again get visitors.
