According to OpenSecrets, Farouki and his wife have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Democrats, including the Clintons and former President Barack H. Obama. Hillary Clinton’s habit of awarding government contracts to large donors was well documented in the book/movie “Clinton Cash.”Three men, including a top donor to former president William J. Clinton and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary R. Clinton, were indicted for defrauding the United States in order to win a huge Pentagon contract.
“Three men were charged in an indictment returned Nov. 27 for their roles in a scheme to defraud U.S. Military contracts in Afghanistan, engaging in illegal commerce in Iran, and laundering money internationally. Their conduct was in connection to two multi-million dollar contracts to provide supplies and logistical support to U.S. troops in Afghanistan.,” according to a Justice Department statement from last week.
