North Carolina congressman Walter Jones, a Ron Paul Republican, in hospice care

Longtime Republican U.S. Rep. Walter Jones, who hasn’t voted in Congress since September, is in hospice care, his office reported Saturday.

 In a statement, the office said Jones’ health has declined since he broke his hip last week. Jones was sworn in for his 13th term this month by Rep. G.K. Butterfield, a Wilson Democrat, at Jones’ home in Farmville.

    Thereby proving, along with gabby Giffords, and sen McCain that the ruling elite couldnt care less if you have representation in congress.

    Giffords was incapacitated for a year, but the governor didn't replace her with someone who was functioning. McCain was incapacitated for almost as long. Again, the governor allowed him to remain in office. We hear from Democrat all the time how important representation in Congress is, whenever dc statehood comes up. But really, it's all about elections and power. They couldnt care less if there is real representation.

    Sorry to hear about this, but surprised by it, as well. Didn't hear a peep about him when I was pulling the lever for him in November. He was running unopposed.
    It sounds like the Republicans are playing fast and loose too. Not too happy about the deception.
