What about my Cherokee ancestry? I don't have any documentation, but I do know there is some on both sides of my family--probably a little more than 1/1024. If you're gonna do something like this, it seems the American Indian deserve a little too. I just wonder how all the genealogical details are gonna be figured out. Besides, I understand that some Indians and black folk owned slaves, so do they get cut out? Just some questions for this ridiculous idiocy. --Ron W

Come to think of it, Barbara Anne Brock was my g,g, grandmother and her grandmother was a Cherokee (NC) Seems like I would have more than 1/1024. Do you know how to figure that Ron? Thanks.
I don't know how to figure it, but my maternal great grandmother was a Cherokee and my paternal g g grandfather was too, so maybe I'm more than 1/1024. I did see where Elizabeth Warren has proposed reparations for American Indians too. It's gonna take some complex cipherin' to figure it all out. My solution is let's forget all of this absurdity and concern ourselves with the smallest minority i.e., each individual person. All of the Bill of Rights for all citizens; group rights or special privileges for no one. --Ron W
