Watch as 60,000 Bump Stocks Are Destroyed

This Tuesday marked the launch of a new holiday, “National Destroy Your Bump Stock Day.” To celebrate the occasion, 60,000 bump stocks were crushed by an industrial strength shredder at a recycling facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) oversaw the destruction of the reciprocating stocks, which were supplied by Texas-based retailer RW Arms.

  2. Aside from other issues, did they simply size the property and destroy it without compensation?

    Y'all have a nice day.

    1. It's bad enough, though they obviously should receive compensation, but the tax payer would be stuck with the bill, so can't win either way. Screw them, some strong rubber bands will do and tease them to ban those. :)

  3. Don't forget TRUMP is the one who had these baned and destroyed. Don't forget TRUMP nominated attorney general William Barr who is anti Second Amendment and who thinks red flag laws are good. "The wright of the people to keep and bate arms shall not be infringed", not even by TRUMP !!!

  4. I've shot real auto weapons and I've shot the "bump stock." The bump stock is crap but then I'm not in love with the full auto either. My daddy taught me to hunt. I was given 1 bullet and sent out to hunt. It was a 45 minute walk to the timber where I hunted. Daddy would give me all the bullets I wanted. Just one at a time. Once I began coming back with a squirrel or rabbit every time, he started giving me 2 bullets. By the time I was 12 I got a pocket full.

I've walked the woods with too many spray and pray hunters. I do own a few semi-auto weapons but most are pump or bolt action. I'd take my bolt action against any 5 bump stock opponents. The only thing they are good for is wasting a lot of good ammunition.

Although I have zero use for them, I strongly disagree with the ban. And like all laws only honest citizens will obey. Criminals and democrats will ignore this law like all the rest.
