Yes, that would work if we could make it happen. Years ago, in Texas, there was an invitation to join a private community where each would own a certain amt of land and farm it and share goods and skills. Kind of like a commune and one didn't interact with corporations and the like. Can't recall the name of the outfit but I had considered it. Get the Hell out of Dodge. It's even more relevant now. Kind of like the White town in South Africa.

Years ago there was a 'Confederate' one, in I believe TN, but they didn't get enough families to make it work unfortunately. :(
